Just a really fantastic band. Ah, Junior year of high school, I knew thee well.
As a long time listener I'm overjoyed every time South comes out with a new album. Their 5th LP "You Are Here" is no different. Possibly their most casual dream-pop album to date, with a slightly harder edge coming in in the later half. The sound of a band maturing and doing so with a very graceful inclination. I had the pleasure of catching two shows in two nights over the winter in NYC at Piano's and was ready for a third. Here's "Wasted" the opening track from the new LP. Visit their Official website
Fantastic later day song by The Jam. Recently on the Mark Ronson Versions album feat. Santogold. I prefer the original, although I like 'em both.
